I'm Courtney, a Chartered Accountant, Business Owner, Wife, Mother and your biggest support in achieving your business goals. I know what it's like being in business, juggling many projects, jobs, feelings and trying to make a profit without burning out. Sometimes you need someone to talk to, someone to sanity check your plans or someone to explain your financial information to you. I'm that someone.
My Story
Growing up I had a real knack for numbers. At 7 years old my parents told me a should be an accountant - and there's no surprises on how that turned out... When at High School I had my first real introduction to accounting which confirmed it was what I wanted to do with my life. After encouragement from my accounting teacher I left school a year early, gaining early entry to my Bachelor of Business studies, and joining a large local accounting firm as a trainee.
From the outset I have been motivated in my field, to achieve my goals and constantly get better at what I do. This drive, along with working full-time from the beginning, provided me with exposure to much more than you would expect for someone my age which has given me a wider range of experience than your typical accountant.
